Do you incentivise yourself in your business?
I ask this question of coaching clients regularly and I’m often met with some strange looks! I actually think it’s really important to incentivise ourselves in business—particularly when it’s around a challenge we’re avoiding…. Like FINANCES!
I used to incentivise myself ALL THE TIME when it came to my business finances.
I wanted to commit to doing Financial Fridays but I knew I had to make it enjoyable or I’d never do it, so I’d set myself up in my favourite coffee shop, order myself a tea, get a sweet treat and then begin looking at my bank accounts! (Honestly, that’s where I started. Just looking at the money coming in and going out and being conscious of what was happening—beyond just the balance at the bottom of the page!)
If you’ve never paid enough attention to your business finances before, below are 5 simple actions you can take to get started.
First things first → Decide on an incentive you’ll reward yourself with after you’ve completed one of the below actions!
