Do you associate STRESS with SUCCESS?
Have you ever felt like being constantly busy and overwhelmed is something all entrepreneurs should wear like a badge of honour? As if you’re not doing enough unless you’re on the brink of burnout?
Even if we try to ignore it, this message is everywhere.
I remember thinking in my twenties that stress meant success. That if I wasn’t feeling overwhelmed, I wasn’t working hard enough.
But by my thirties—married, raising kids, and running multiple businesses—I realized that constant stress stopped me from being the partner, parent, and leader I wanted to be.
That’s not success.
But how we define that aim or purpose? That depends entirely on context. And context changes as we grow.
What success means for me now looks nothing like what it meant a decade ago—and that’s okay. In fact, it’s expected.
If you’ve never thought about what success looks like for you—or it’s been a while—I encourage you to take some time and explore that question.
Rather than asking “What is success?”, I like to break it down into three core pillars: Time, Energy, and Money.
This isn’t about being a millionaire. It’s about clarity and empowerment.
Did one of these pillars stand out to you—for better or worse?
Success doesn’t have to be defined overnight. It’s something you can refine and revisit again and again—and I’d love to support you as you do.
