Did you set goals for yourself in 2021? Can you dig them back out for a minute?
Here’s why.
When we reach the end of the year, the exhaustion can set in and our motivation can be at a low point. As a result, we typically default to remembering all the things we didn’t get done in the previous 12 months and neglect to notice all of the outstanding things we have actually achieved.
So today, I want you to take 5 minutes for yourself and reflect on the intentions you set for yourself in 2021. How do you feel about those intentions now?
And even if you didn’t set goals at the start of the year, you can still take this time to reflect!
Try, answering these questions:
What are you most proud of from 2021?
What is something you did for yourself this year?
What’s a challenge you overcame that felt insurmountable at the time?
Who did you meet or interact with that inspired you?
What are you grateful for this year?
How do you feel now? I’m sure you achieved so much more this year than you’d given yourself credit for!
I’m going to stay off of the blog and out of your inbox for the next few weeks to recharge and spend some time with the family, and I hope you have the opportunity to do the same.
I’ll be back with you post Christmas energised and ready to talk all things Goal Setting and Time Management for 2022!
Wishing you and your loved ones a joy-filled holiday season.
