Finish this sentence for me: Success for me is…
Does that feel like a big question? You’re not alone—it can feel massive. That’s why I want to talk about it.
I’ll go first.
Success for me is being able to ride my beautiful blue bicycle twice a week.
I know, it might sound a little odd. With a husband, three kids, three businesses, and big life goals… how could riding a bike be my version of success?
But here’s the thing: that bike ride represents something deeper.
If I end the week feeling drained, I can almost guarantee I haven’t been on my bike. But if I feel energized and accomplished, that bike ride happened—maybe even twice!
It’s a simple, realistic goal that benefits both my mental and physical health—but it’s also proof that I’m making intentional choices in life and business. And that’s what success looks like for me.
If the sentence “Success for me is…” feels too big to finish, try identifying a small personal goal you can work toward weekly—something like my bike ride. You might find that the behind-the-scenes effort to make it happen feels more like success than anything else you’ve been chasing.
